Meet,
Bri Beck, LMFT
Therapist
Seeking help in therapy takes strength and bravery, and I applaud clients for taking the first steps. We live in a world that rarely slows down enough for us to understand ourselves truly, yet we're often our own harshest critics, judging how we feel or how we've responded to the things life has handed us.
Sometimes we feel stuck, individually or in our relationships, and it can be hard to see a new path. If you've found yourself here, you may already sense that something needs to shift, and that's a meaningful place to start. I'm passionate about helping clients reach their potential to grow, change the patterns that no longer serve them, and move past the obstacles in their way. I work with clients to process and heal, create greater connections in their relationships, communicate more effectively, create healthy boundaries, and move through life more confidently.
I have personal experience with relationship stress, trauma, chronic illness, and loss, as well as an academic emphasis in trauma-informed care. This informs not only the way I've shaped my clinical training, but the way I show up in the room with clients. I don't approach your story as an observer – I’m here to step into the dark and heavy places with you as we work toward healing and growth. I believe people are resilient, and I work to empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives.
I work from an attachment-based foundation, holding awareness that our past relationships and experiences shape the ways we connect, protect ourselves, and experience the world. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help individuals and couples heal and grow from the inside out. I help clients get curious about and connect with their inner world rather than battle with it, and build the kind of real, safe connection – with themselves and others – that makes lasting change possible.
My Space Is Your Space
A calm, private setting where you can feel comfortable being yourself and doing the work that matters
My Approach
I believe that feeling safe is not a luxury in therapy – it’s the foundation for everything else. That means moving at a pace that feels right for you, honoring what you're ready for, and never pushing you to go somewhere you haven't chosen.
At the same time, I'll be honest with you, curious with you, and willing to nudge you toward the edges of your comfort zone – because that's where real healing often lives. I will walk alongside you into the hard places when you're ready. It's important to me to create a compassionate and respectful environment where clients feel supported in gaining self-compassion and insight throughout therapy.
I believe you are more than your stuck points, your hard moments, or the ways you've learned to survive. Therapy is a space where something new becomes possible, and I'd be honored to be part of that journey with you.
